TRELS Study Abroad

Triton Research and Experiential Learning Scholars (TRELS) may be awarded up to $3,000 to study abroad between Spring 2020 and Winter 2021.

Eligibility

  • TRELS is open to undergraduates of any class standing and any major, with at least a 2.5 GPA.
  • There is particular interest in providing opportunities to a diverse group of outstanding students, particularly those who face financial and other obstacles to studying abroad.

What is the TRELS study abroad scholarship?  How do I apply?

The TRELS study abroad scholarship supports students seeking financial support for their study abroad programs.

Interested students should apply through the UC San Diego opportunities portal by submitting the “Study Abroad Scholarship” application during the Winter quarter prior to the academic year during which they plan to study abroad.  Upon submitting your application, the review committee will consider you for TRELS funding as well as other funding opportunities for which you may be eligible.
